Can any one show me a link in the DFG regs about the hook regulations for rock fish,i cant seem to find what I'm looking for ,maybe i overlooked it i don't know,

Can you used barbed hooks on jigs or do they need to be pinched/filed off?
Can you use a treble hook?

Or should i just change all my hooks to barbless circle hooks?

no more than two hooks, barbs are allowed, unless salmon is on board, then barbless only, and yes you can use a trebble, but they do snag more often than single shank IMHO, hope this helps, cameron

Thanks bwodun, i guess i was legal the last time out.But i did find out  there is less snags with the single hook  so im going to at least change a few out to single barbed hooks.
