Fished Napa rvier near HWY 29 Bridge and had some fun with the Striper schoolies. Caught a 8" on a spoon ( see Pic) and got several pull downs on frozen anchovies.  Great if you're just looking to enjoy catch and release.  Can't seem to get catch the keepers out there.

@vwool- yes Usually at kennedy or at cutting wharf if it's before 7AM- (kennedy doesn't open til 7)

Right on. I work in Napa and I troll the Napa river after work quite often. Those little guys are everywhere. I did get one 25 inch striper last week trolling a rattle trap but other than that, nothing much over 12 inches.

nothing wrong with catching a bunch of catch and release.my only thing is the hook in the thumb,these little guys seem to flop around alot when you land'em
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
