The fish tasted great! The area we were fishing is surrounded by fresh lava flows into the sea from the last 40 years so there isn't a lot of reef, which to the best of my understanding means sigutera toxin is not a major concern. Since we were backpacking I just filleted the fish and made foil packets to throw on the fire. Just salt, pepper, coconut meat from the nuts we were drinking, bacon and a little butter. The meat was firm and delicate in flavor. I would def. eat another one if its not too big and not in an area known for Siguterra.
I DON'T LIKE FISHING, I LOVE IT!

You might need it the lottery ticket when you get there and decide all play and no work is fun.
