Cabrillo Quickie 4 Fathers Day

No -- not that kind of quickie --    I have a church gig on Sundays so I could not get OTW today until 4 pm today.   It was the usual afternoon REALLY WINDY time.

I was out 40 minutes and caught this 15" spotted bay bass, not that far from the ramp.  Then shortly after that I caught another short little barred sand bass (released).  But it was windy -- way windy -- as usual in the afternoon.   And I decided I wanted a fish dinner.  So I got out at 5:45, went home, filleted the fish, put up my gear, cooked dinner.   "Spotty" was mighty tasty.  Life is good. 

Way to get out, Dave - congrats.  Keep training for some Humboldt Time.

Nice bass Dave!! Wish I could get out for quick sessions like that after work. Someday...
