anyone check out the trident 13 seconds for sale at adventure sports?

I'm considering these among a few options for a new kayak.  Wondering if anyone has seen them and if the "blemishes" are just that.  I could care less about crooked lettering or scratches, but would care about a hulls out of whack or misshapen.  I'll get those on my first outing.  Any opinions on these and/or the vendor?  The price is in my ballpark and it isn't too far a drive from Santa Cruz....

If you're open to the option of the 15' Trident Prowler Angler you can get it from BackCountry.com $885 shipped for yellow or $833 shipped for sand (provided that you have a business you can have it shipped to, otherwise it's +$50 for residential.) 

They had the 13-footers a few days ago but are sold out now.  Only two in each color in stock for the 15'.

they have them on their ebay store as well.  A member sent me a PM about his issues with the seconds so I'm more wary now.  Adventure sports took care of him so no issues there but it was good to know.  Thanks for the other tips.  I like to buy local, both to save shipping and help the economy, but AS isn't really THAT local to me.  Nonetheless I'm still shopping around.

I feel you on keeping your money in the local economy.  You could always see if a local place will price match the price including shipping.    

I've worked that angle a bit but twice now the places couldn't get the trident, only the prowler.  Minor differences but if I'm going to buy new I'd rather have the trident.  It seems that only specialty shops get the trident and the prowler is for the general sporting goods stores?  I'm going to check another place local to me today and see what they can do.  I always feel a bit bad about asking some struggling local store to match some big retailer but I guess the internet economy is what it is.  My property taxes more than make up for any non-local purchases anyway!

HEY BRO I JUST BOUGHT A TRIDENT 13 BLEMISH(SECOND) BOAT FROM THEM. I COULDNT TELL WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE YAK. THE GUY SAID IT HAD OVER SPRAY ON IT AND ONE SIDE HAD MORE PAINT THAN THE OTHER. I LAUGHED BECAUSE I COULDNT SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SIDES. I WAS SUPER STOAKED ON THE PRICE AND IM MORE THAN HAPPY WITH MY YAK.
