You guys should have seen the look on my wife's face this morning....  I got a new VHF radio last week, so this morning I walked out in my backyard with it, turned it on and tossed it in my pool.  My wife gave me a look of utter astonishment.  I turned to her and said "it's supposed to be waterproof and float, rather find out here".  Then came the look of relief from her followed by the normal, "I don't understand you" look :)

 :smt044  I can relate.

I made a brief attempt at learning the ways of the fly rod.  Not having alot of skinny water to practice whippin it around here.....I made a faux mouse out of feathers and started stalking the ferrel cats in my neighborhood.  The gf thought I'd lost my marbles.

I get a lot of those side comments from getting my gear ready to coming home tired and late.  My daughter is getting on my case too lately.  BUT I still feel Happy after any yak fishing trip.

As well she should. Cats are too easy to take the bait, and once you put some tension on, tend to LDR. Watcha need, is a golden retriever. Something that likes to pull...  Heck they're better than 3 and 5 year old boys when it comes to "playing fish".
