infected klamath salmon...

what would an infected klamath salmon look like?

small purple lesions scattered throu musculature around belly cavity?

I bought a tail section that had some of these. Otherwise very red,
fresh and edible. tasted excellent after I cut away these sections.

compared to a paler fish the next weekend, it was definitely better tasting,
I wondering if I ate an infected klamath salmon one weekend and a big hatchery king the next?
