Happy B-day Spike!

Thanks for all the good wishes you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's been a great birthday so far, might as well celebrate since they seem to be coming faster.  Unlike my younger girlfriend, who celebrates a day for each of her years, we're making a 3 day weekend of it.

Started the birthday weekend Friday by heading up to Ocean Cove for a B-Day ling with "Pops" (Nick Popodopolous).  We were prepared to be denied entry to the Ocean because the coast has been sucking wind.  The first breeze met us walking down to the launch.  It was a washing machine out there from the night wind then the day wind started.  Bagged a quick 24" ling and headed for the beach.  Back at the kayak barn near Two Rock at 11am.

It's nice having Michelle out of regular work (for awhile anyway) since we rarely get the full weekend together.  Soooooo....we tore up Occidental some last night after a few tequillas at Casino Bar and Grill in Bodega.  Bumped into Demian at the Farmers Market and he joined the debauchery.  Beers, music and lots of friendly folk at Barley and Hops then, wine and dinner at that dainty little French spot (their chef is a kayak angler too) across from the hardware store.  Lots of fun.

Looking to hook up in the morning at or above Ft Ross and with all of you asap.
