Drakes Beach?

There is a small possibility I will launch from Drakes Beach this Saturday 6-30.

I was wondering what would be the best bet for fishing that area right now?

Marv, I think Drakes is all in a MPA now. But if you're going to target salmon I think you can launch over closer to Chimney Rock but you will need a cart to get from the parking lot above to the beach. You could launch from Drakes and paddle out but launching over by the point will save you some time.

Give the park a call first before heading out to chimney lifeboat launch....if the are still seals down there they won't let you launch there.

Drakes is all cerrado now....
