those spine boards are an excellent idea..my wife would be definitely in the WTF mode if I have one delivered home though.

However, I think it's best to use materials that will float and do double duty as a life preserver or an escape raft if necessary.... hence my old surf board idea. :smt002

Just mount a "ski bob" under each haka and call it a day.  I'd suggest using those "water banana's" for the tandem though  ;)
