Thanks Harold, I was thinking about using the conditioner/soap. This is my first open cell suit so I just wanna find out what other diver are using. Once again thanks for the comeback.

Conditioner, and when mixing, one dab of conditioner to a bottle of water should do.  Over lubing is not cool  :smt011

Just found this, by the time you get done reading it sounds like an infommercial, doesn't mean it's not good stuff, I might try some

Never use shampoo or soap, as it can irritate skin because it removes oils. I prefer over-lubing (hard to do) to under-lubing, as it facilitates movement.

Personally, I think it's a bit of a rip off. Hearing from people, and examining some for myself, I really don't see how it's different than your run-of-the-mill, scentless conditioner that you can get for a lot cheaper.

Freddie,
I bought a bottle of Suit Juice last year. Tried it, and it was too viscous to be effective. I ended up using conditioner mixed with water, like everybody else. If you'd like to try the Suit Juice, you're welcome to have my bottle. Only used it once. I'm in Union City. PM me for address if you're interested.

It's pretty easy to do and feels quite ghey when your greased up body is sliding around in your seat while paddling around.  I've used bottled water in a pinch and got in my suit pretty easily. Conditioner does make it slightly easier tho.

X2 on soap.....that stuff will make it s way into your eyes and burn the hell out of them at some point during the dive.

Go to any Sally's beauty supply. You can buy a gallon of Cure Care unscented hair conditioner (white jug) for $10 or less. Mix it 25/75 with water. A gallon lasts forever and works GREAT.

Just saw this post.
Great tip.   :smt001

The $1 Suave conditioners work well and convenient, but I do have a couple buddies get nauseous from the manufactured scents.
Cure Care seems to be a great economical alternative.
I have 2 gallons of Cure Care (from Sally's) sitting in my garage right now, but still have to work through about 10 Suave bottles I've stockpiled.   :smt009
