This is kind of fishing related as I use my Iphone to take my fishing photos.

I finished my two year contract and am looking to switch service companies to I guess my only option is T-mobile.  I don't use the phone all that much so paying the premium price for AT&T just doesn't seem worth it.

Now the problem.  A month ago I upgraded the OS to the new 5.1.1.  Now, as I have been hitting a few cell shops in Sacramento (the ones that are recommended by the primary cell phone company shops), I have been told that they have not come out with a unlock for the new OS.

So, anybody who is into this kind of stuff know what my options are.  At the moment I am just using a burn phone, but would like to get my full cell phone options back.

Thanks.
Steve

It's only a matter of time. No iOS version had ever been unJailBreakable. My guess is you wouldn't have to wait long. I don't jail break my phone anymore simply because I don't get much benefit from doing that, and it's kind of a pain to keep up with the changes.
