If they are there why not?  I have one too but it's been a while since I used it last.  Usually if I can see it up top, I'm able to get some.  The thicker the better.  Have you got an intel that they are there?

Rey -

I've never used a throw net at ARW.  My buddy Paddlefish catches his own, he gets his live bait around the piers off Doolittle Drive by the OAP.  High tide is 5 AM, I am thinking they should be around.

I also stop at mlk on my way to get themi think that's where I met paddlefish at a few years ago, I've had no success with my throw net at the wall and I've tried alot near the tires.

I am pretty sure there is a timeframe when perch are off-limits in the Bay, (shiners excepted).  Might want to check the regs.

I know where to net some shiners, but after 13 attempts mostly with live bait and not caught any hali, I dont think I would waste my time with catching live bait.

hey guys the water is way too dirty for live bait take it from me I'd be bringing bright white plastic with lots of procure and flashers as for catching bait around the rock wall it's very difficult I wouldn't even bother

but that's just my 2 cents
