How far off 80 are you? We camp the trukee area quite a bit.

Or how bout this... Wheres the good camping near you? Save myself some driving. Must have water with good trout fishing, lake over river as its easier to manage with my 3yr old.

That is subjective to the fisherman.
Sly Park, Ice House, Union Valley, Gerle Creek Res and Loon Lake all relatively nearby.
I hit Ice House Thursday after work but was targeting nothing but a monster brown. It was go big or go home as there was no way I would catch anything small. I came home empty handed.
