Salmon Trolling at Fort Ross 5/20

  I was thinking about trolling around the Fort Ross area for Salmon this Sunday.  Is anyone interested? I haven't been up there yet this year and if anyone could tell me when the gates open that would be great.  I really need to get out on the water!!  Timber Cove would also be an option.

I think they open the gate at 7 although I have been there early before and the maintenence guys let me come in at 630 when they came to clean the bathrooms.

     I'm on the fence due to the weather report and not knowing if anyone else is heading up there.  Safety first right!

 Sunday: WNW wind 11 to 16 kt. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 3 to 4 ft at 7 seconds and SSW 1 ft at 16 seconds. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.

Yeah Buddy system all the way...anything can happen and does!!!  if you drive up to casper sun...I'm there forsure and plan on overniting till mon looks like this out of ft bragg mon:

sun is not as good but douable!!!
and with Salmon all over the place the Fort would probably produce!!!  By catch Salmon last yr at RBII
