ocean conditions look pretty good:
SUN
 NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT. NW SWELL 2 TO
 4 FT. PATCHY FOG.

Might get windy so a dawn start would be great. I've never launched here before but have driven past many times dreaming about all the lingzillas that might be lurking in that fishy water. I don't think I'll go without company, so come one, come all!

Yep I would recommend a partner at least, it is some gnarly water up there.

RCG and lingcod are open south of the lighthouse, but be aware that north of the lighthouse is closed to boat-based angling until June 1st.

I plan on getting up to fish that area sometime later on this summer.

woohoo! Glad to hear it. I'm keeping an eye on the weather too, winds might be getting stronger and that may just mean cutting the day short. Keep me posted.
