Search for Brother kayakfisherman/Fireman 5/24

They have a specialist coming in Sunday who looks for missing people all over the world, so hopefully this will be done soon...

I have Crisis Intervention training that I'm doing in San Francisco next week and not available to search again till Thursday...

 If Bill is not found by then, I am going back up on Thursday...

If anyone wants to help, I will be at the south launch at Camp Far West Reservior, Blue Gate is unlocked, I'll put up the physical address later for GPS or goggle maps, just pass through and make sure you secure it back up...

Have a VHF radio ( I have 2 extras ) as I will have a 800 MHZ and be relaying our VHF traffic to command...

I will be there at 8am but feel free to show whenever you can...

I would say in between the south and north shore launch...

 If he is in the deep water, and the lake gives him up, the current runs towards the dam from south to north and that is also the direction the wind blows from the south...

 The south launch does say closed to private party, as this is where the command post is. If anyone wants to go down there and search, just let me know and I'll notify command through a liaison .

You could also just launch from the North Shore and if you find something, just call 911...

strange sad story...  I just looked it up.  He must of had a heart attack or something?  Doesn't sound like the kind of guy that wouldn't know how to self rescue.  The video I saw, I think that was a Hobie PA, which is pretty hard to flip as it is... poor guys family.
