Pimp, unpimp, then repimp is always fun. I am on my 3rd quick release anchor system. This one is the bomb and I am sticking with it.
definitely do your research on this board to see what works best for most people.
I mostly drive a Prowler 15 but i think my old school Tarpon 160 will see a lot more action next year.

tote u got any pics of your system???  I didn't notice my lonely brave pelican on the list what up mooch???  I know it's cheap but it sure is fishy :smt005 :smt004 :smt044

My first post as a new subscriber and OK Prowler 15 owner. Read everything I could about all the kayaks and almost bought a Marauder but changed to the OK due to it's history, reputation and I found an old stock ruder model for 1/2 price in Livermore CA. I took it to Bodega Bay and Tomalas Bay with PFD and paddle before I had anything else (proper clothing like wet suit) just to play and get my feet wet. I found first thing that the tide in Tomalas Bay going in or out is to strong to fight and Bodega bay is a challenge to launch. I did learn balance and got wet and cold but it was a great experience. I look forward to actually going fishing off the Cal. coast from Monterey to SF and Bodega Bay too. I know this is a little long winded but I am really having fun with this. I have been to a lake twice so far (inlet) and caught a trout that turned my yak around and pulled me up stream a little, strong little fish (2lbs), what's a Halibut going to do ? Anyway I own one OK Prowler 15.

no love for the stealth 14? I know the live well is not big up here but down south, texas and out east the stealth series was a major game changer. The first kayak from the factory with a live bait tank. A true off shore fishing kayak as opposed to an owner modified fishing platform. (I'm trying to say I paddle a stealth 14)
