You can haul yaks, canoes, ice chests, etc. on the top of it.  I saw a picture of a ATV on top of one. the top is aluminum and the weight limit as per a dealer is 400 pounds.
The trailer you linked to on ebay is overpriced.  you can pick up a used Adventure trailer used for less (Adventure trailers are one of the ultimate off road RTT trailers).
