Just dropped a note to the F.W. Corporate office.  [email protected]

Just wanted to drop a quick thumbs up for Eric/Yakhopper from the Fresno store and Fisherman's Warehouse for sponsoring the Clear Lake Kayak event.  I started kayaking last year @ May and this is my third Fishermans Warehouse event.  I am primarily a solo fishing person however these events are way too fun to pass up.  Eric always provides a great event.  Business wise, as that is the core of what these events come down to, for this event I ended up picking up a new Abu Garcia pole and reel, Shimano pole and reel, four spools of braided and fluorocarbon line, swimbaits and lures, as I am not a primary Bass fisherman.  It seems that each event is a new species that requires different equipment, smart marketing.  Anyway's, just wanted to thank everyone as well as the other sponsors for a great time.

Thanks,
Steve/Steveislost

Thanks for the good words,
Things like this really go a long way. We generally only hear about the complaints, so this means a lot to me ........ Thank you ;-)

Just realized,
This was started in the M.O. fishing reports :smt010
Seems like it should be moved to the open area ..... could the mods please move this :smt001
I would like to have it avail for all those nice sponsors to see when they check out the link I sent them.
Thanks,
Eric / Yakhopper

Thank you MODS!

Thanks to Eric for putting together the first kayak fishing event for 2012!  It was my first Clear Lake event and hope we can do it again.  Most of the kayakers that stayed for the award ceremony got a prize all thanks to the awesome sponsors; Fisherman's Warehouse, Ocean Kayaks, Ahi / Promar, Fish-On Jigs, Uncle Larry's Lures, Okuma, Eagle Claw, Western Outdoor News, Lowrance Electronics, Extrasport, Culprit Worms, Carlisle Paddles, Pro Cure Scents, Rapala, Coast Distribution, Luhr Jensen, along with Powell (and anyone else I'd forgot to mention) for making these event's happen.  Congrats to the top three winners.  Can't wait for the next event.
