11 & 13lbs on herring fbr both on the area around 30.8/34.7

one other hookup shook

Not a bad day weatherwise, wind made the ride back a piece of cake

The triangle was a bit dicey, at times there was break all the way across and it was popping up all over the place  If you go use the buoys, I went through only because I had limited time

chased a couple of whales around but they were teasing me bigtime At one point I was pumping over to where one just blew and on the way it popped up 10 ft behind me If I tossed my camera over my shoulder it would've hit it  Not sure if I got any photos

about 4 miles straight out from moss beach, 18 miles round trip

I got on the fish, landed one, dropped in again and hooked up, second one spit

then I went a mile or so further up to see what a boat was up to They were hooking up but I wanted to head in, nice 5-6mph with tailwind and swell helping out, got to the spot and hooked up the other fish

For anyone who can get up at a reasonable hour you could be landing about the time I got to the fish The noaa reports had me edgy about it this a.m. so I headed more uphill than originally planned If you go watch the swell coming through inside the buoys It was pretty wicked at times and unpredictable

Probably find fish in closer waters soon

find the birdies find the fish

only saw 2 private boats the whole day

too bad no good photos of the whales

I really think we should get Paul Lebowitz to do a story on Paul/Blue Kayak. He's definitely on a league of his own  :smt023

What do you think Blue?

I think you of all people should get sponsored by Wilderness Systems!
