Was at WalMart the other day and as usual had to stop and eyeball the pool noodles (a common symptom of "welcome to kayak fishing madness"). Next to the regular long foam noodles were some softer pillow like pool floats. Reminded me of those little bead filled pillows that were all the rage a few years ago. Remembering the discussion about alternatives to noodles for inhull floatation I wondered if anyone had given the "float bags" (no idea what they were called?) a try?

edit - Found it. Looks like they're called NeoNoodles http://neonoodle.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5&Itemid=11
