Salmon are all over the place according to the Coastside reports, but getting early limits from Pigeon Point near the beach on Sunday. I have never launched from Pigeon Point, but it looks like there is a sandy beach and people do. The waves and wind look favorable, the "patchy fog" looks questionable. The bite is hot with people getting limits by 9 am.   I want to catch some before they all get caught.  Any one available?  I'm calling in to work with a "sick kid".  :smt003  -Gabe

The bite off pidgeon slowed significantly on sun. For everyone posting limits, there were dozens with one or less fish per rod. The fish weren't that close to the launch. About 7 miles out in 260 fow feeding on krill, mostly down at 80-120ft. I swung in closer to pidgeon to scout for a yak trip, but no fish, water wasn't right, no bait and lots of jelly. The weather is VERY unpredictable this time of year. Yesterday, instead of the wx of calm and sunny it was fog, rian and wind blowing 25knts straight to hawaii. Soon the fish will move in closer to the beach feeding on anchovies and smelt.

Thanks Sharky!  It's hard to find good intel. I guess if the fish were close and weather was good, there would be posts here about it. Do you know of any places to try on Tuesday?
