Just curious Piski, how did you get you and your stuff off of the beach?

I always wonder about things like that. So often we take things like packing up our gear for granted.

Fortunately I tend to do more dumb & clumsy things when people are around.

Dealing with all that stuff kept my mind occupied and probably helped distract me from pain. Directing non-yakkers how to load your kayak and strap it down can be challenging, especially while one of your legs is just dangling below the knee.

I was also kind of obsessed with not letting the crabs go to waste--I made friends cook 'em up that night so they wouldn't spoil.

No wonder you have been MIA. I honestly thought you were just so busy at work again. Sorry to hear about your painful mishap. Glad to see you finally walking and that it did not even seem you were in an accident. Sorry we didn't have enough time to chat last time we saw each other. Take care of your self bro.
