Contour+ vs. GoPro HD Hero 2

I know there's a lot of debating between two great products. Just thought you would like to read the article at http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/09/contour-vs-gopro-hd-hero-2-through-the-desert-and-into-th/ in case if you plan to buy one soon.

http://camarush.com/blog/category/goprohd_vs_contourhd/ got the nice list of sports which cam will work better with. Although the article was 1 1/2 years old.

The reason I post was because apparently everyone got GoPro while I think Contour works better for kayaking. I hate the water drips on the lens.
