There will be all kinds of craft to paddle at REI's paddle day April 7th at Spring Lake park in Santa Rosa. The event will be by the boat ramp. Kayaks and SUP's from alot of different companies will be there. Its free and PFD's are supplied.  9am until 1 pm All welcome.

Yup. Tough lake to fish, though. Pretty shallow and lots of weeds.

I dont know if Mike will be bringing a 4.3 down. The boats that will be there are the kayaks and sup's that REI stocks or carries for ordering. If Mike brings my 4.3 down you can paddle it. Yes there are fish in that lake.

A lot of BIG fish in that little lake. Skeet Reese honed his skills in that lake before becoming a BassMasters champ, says he has caught more 10+ lb fish their than all of his pro tourneys combined.

I'll be there to try a few SUPs, maybe try a WS Tarpon to see how it differs from my T15.

Cool. Maybe we can do a grub hook-up somewhere the night before or right after the event. I've been wanting to try Hikuni, which is actually right across the street from Spring Lake.
