SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT

BOAT LAUNCH OPEN 7 DAY’S A WEEK AND INSPECTOR ON SITE
The San Pablo Reservoir  hours are 6:30am to 7pm with all boaters needing to be off the water by 6pm.The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week  and snacks and drinks are available aswell as bait and tackle. Our last Trout plant of 1200 lbs. was performed on Monday  April 2,2012 and the Department of Fish and Game planted 2,000lbs. on Tuesday April 3,2012 and another 2,000lbs. on Wednesday April 4,2012. Trout plants take place weekly but numbers and dates from Department of Fish and Game may change.  The Trout bite is still on people are still bringing them in with some nice size at that. The water temperature is still about  53 degrees. Berkley Power bait colors such as Chartreuse, Garlic  and Spring Green remain the top choice of bait aswell as the Berkley Mice Tails while also using the Power bait Trout Dip in Garlic or Roe scents. Night Crawlers have also been working. Rapalas like the broken back Fire Tiger and Shad lures  still seem to be the  lures of choice for trolling.

Mike Amin & Group from Fremont caught 20 Trout with the largest weighing in at 6 lbs. using worms and marshmallows in Scow Canyon on 04-03-2012
David Cheng of El Sobrante caught a 7 lb. Trout using a Rapala at Scow Canyon on 04-03-2012
Jeff Coriz of Martinez caught 5 Trout using PowerEggs at the Boat Launch area on 04-03-2012
Kerwin Jeung of San Francisco caught a 7 lb. Trout using green PowerBait at the Main Recreation area on 04-05-2012
Rem Bridges of Pinole caught 4 Trout largest weighing 4 lbs. using Lime Twist PowerBait at Pinto Point on 04-05-2012
Cliff Lin of San Carlos caught 5 Trout with the largest weighing 11.5 lbs. using worms at Sandy Point on 04-06-2012
Peter & Dan Kelsey of San Francisco caught 10 Trout with the largest weighing 7 lbs. using PowerBait at Bobber Beach on 04-06-2012
Lazarus, Laurynn & Leilani Manchero of Orinda caught 9 Trout using PowerBait at Scow Canyon on 04-06-2012
Tom Billmaier of San Jose caught a 10.2 lb. Trout using a Kastmaster across from the Boat Launch area on 04-06-2012

Bass
Richard Villanueva of San Francisco caught a 5 lb. Bass using a Shad lure at the Rock Wall on 04-03-2012
