2012 snow pictures. Did you get some too?

We got a few inches last night and will keep falling threw monday... Gonna make the trout harder to get to round here. Hiding in bed with the wood stove glowing while our kids are out playing in the snow. We'll watch out the window we are @ 2400 ft on I 80 Weimar area

Got enough to make this guy. First snow of the season. Xmas looked like the 4th of July this year and we get this in March Glad I didn't put my veggies in the ground yet.

It's a 98 1/2 ton with 3/4 ton axles on 1 4 inch lift. She does great in the snow.

On a sad note, an 8 year old girl down the road from me was killed when a tree fell on her house while she was sleeping, pinned her in her bed. Very sad day here in our little community.

We got about an inch and a half of snow and tiny hail buildup yesterday. Nothing like you guys farther north, but not bad for santa cruz county. And more than enough to test the driving ability of UCSC students.

Lots of slides and vehicle accidents. There are ash piles from flares all over the place. Glad I stayed home yesterday.

Man, Ron, 3 boats?  I'm sure they all hate your kayak!

That is tragic!  With two little ones myself, my heart aches for her parents.  No bueno!!!

Im going tahoe in two weekends.  Need it to piss down some more snow before then so i can get my XC on.  Otherwise ill b blowing budget in the 'sino and we cant have that can we

We actually made a nice relaxing 4 day weekend of it...drove up Friday to Cedar Lodge in El Portal (mandatory stop in Pizza Factory in Mariposa for pizza and beer on way up).

We stayed at the Cedar Lodge Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights ($59 a night).

Saturday up to Badger Pass area to sled and play.  Actually just on a pull out right before the ski area, free and mellow and plenty of fun to be had for all. Back up there Sunday and then to Curry Village for beer and pizza and then the drive through the Valley for photo ops. 

Headed back home to Watsonville on Monday with another stop in Mariposa for more pizza and beer.

 

Really fun family trip with great friends.

We got about 5 inches in Placerville, a neighbors house one street over burned to the ground, not sure what happened, kinda of a hermit guy that always had his woodstove going may have had a chimney fire.

3??? Oh, you couldn't see the other 3 in that picture Yes I have 6 Boats currently, 8 Kayaks, 3 camping trailers, 2 car trailers, Vw ghia vert, westy camper, And the 3 cars we drive all the time.... NO DMV doesn't send me Christmas cards but they should Life is all about toys... (I also have 6 kids and 2 grandsons to share the toys with ) The good life is mine And I get to fish too!!!!!!!!
