Maybe this season will actually be better than the last several years. Last years prediction of  a good year really didn't seem to pan out though.

Sounds like a few folks are picking them up (incidentally) while fishing with sand dab rigs in 40-50 fathoms.

Either going to be 24 or 20 inch minimum size.

Would be fun to just slow drift (mooch) for them in the deeper waters of Monterey Bay if I lived a lot closer...
