So I've finally decided to go ahead and buy a home.  I've had my offer accepted but need to have an inspection done within the next 7 days.

Do you happen to know of any good home inspectors in the Mountain View area that would be able to get it done?

PM sent. They are not from Mt View, but that does not matter.

Congratulations!

Whoever does it, follow them around and watch very carefully, and do not be distracted or put off, no matter what else is going on.

Congrats, and great advice here.

If it's an old home might be a good idea to have the sewer lateral televised.

Thanks for the recommendation Randal.

I don't have much to compare him to but Markus was professional and thorough and most of all didn't mind all of my questions.

Good to see that you inquired on the structural integrity of the sub-floor beneath the spot for the brass pole.

Was it good to go?

Yep it was good to go. He assured me that even if we put up two poles and decide to go big we'd have nothing to worry about.
