Hawg Trough ~ Lost Fish Solution

This should resolve any lost fish issues while trying to take a pic of your AOTY fish using your Hawg Trough (HT).
Get a cheap aluminum net from Wally World, about $6.
Bend the sides together so the gap between the sides is about 9" wide.
Slide the HT in to the bottom of the net.Wedge the opposite side of the HT under the rim of the net.
Lay the HT on the ground along with the net.
Mark the handle to cut it so it won't extend beyond the length of the HT. This makes for much easier storage.
There is a hole at the end of the HT. You can use this hole to zip tie the HT to the rim of the net if so desired.

I used a lure to give you some sort of scale.

Pretty cool. Leave up to you to come up with a solution for just about anything.

No more lost fish

For me, if I'm going to keep it, I put it on a stringer before taking measurements or do it upon returning to land.  If releasing, just hold onto the fish with some sort of lip gripper.
