This all started months ago with the "news" of REI supporting SD Coastkeeper.  It's been circulating and re-circulating.

To which Michael Collins said,

Quote
Our focus is on encouraging participation in the human-powered outdoor activities that we provide products for. While our members and customers use our gear for a variety of activities, our roots and expertise are in the areas of hiking, backpacking, bicycling, skiing, snowshoeing, paddling and climbing. Our goal is to promote and grow these activities and encourage stewardship of the lands and waters where these sports take place. Our donations program also supports this mission. Our support of Coastkeeper focuses on its volunteer efforts, helping promote and coordinate stewardship of San Diego beaches and preserve water-based recreation opportunities.  Our partnership is not focused on the organization's advocacy efforts.

+1 on the T13.  Aside from all the positives, the rodpod to store the gun ans polespear is a definite plus. Even tho the Hobie is my main ride for fishing, I keep my T13 in the fleet bc of diving reasons... even tho it's been awhile since I yak-dived.

See u OTW! Look forward to yakdiving the sonoma mendo coast with u when u get your yak.  Post a hookup on ncka or ncuh!

Peace 2 U

Matt, demo as many as you can and find the boat that feels best to you. Check out WindToys on Santa Rosa ave. They have lots of new and used boats to demo. Don't forget to mention NCKA for a discount on accessories.

Hi Matt:
Scramble XT Angler Version. Slower than a OK Scupper Pro but, more stable.
