HOW update...

Thanks to all who have helped, expressed interest in helping and have been at the ready...

 Even though there has not been much happening on the board here, plenty has been working in the background as we try to figure how to run HOW in a sustainable fashion.

 We have some poor souls who have decided to join me in this quest and have had the not so fun pleasure of dealing with me and my control issues.... 

Frankfishing, Bigfoot, Kayakjack, Racinracidrob, and Raydon have stepped up big time to help me figure this out and are taking some of the heavy lifting off my shoulders and a Big

Thank You to them!!!

The need is huge out there and we have something here that really makes a difference...

just overwhelming at times and really glad to have these guys getting involved in what it's going to take to move us forward...  more to come on all of this, but for now...

I am talking with San Pablo Reservoir and hopefully have a date up soon for that...

We will also be going to Lake Natomas in April and will be working along side The Military Paralympic Program and will be our first event working together. It was their choice to go to Lake Natomas as this is where their resources and contacts are. This is going to be great partnership with HOW and the start of a beautiful friendship. And Again, I will have a date soon.

Kelsey Bass ranch will be in the mix again and more to come...

Just wanted to put a note out there to all who are interested in helping to let you know that we are working hard at getting things going, just takes time as there are many devils    in the details...

I can't thank you enough for what you and the rest of NCKA have started out here.  I see a lot of the Vets here at PA who have gone out on your trips.  While I am no longer in the rural health program, I am still in contact with Dr's Tong and Lighthall on a regular basis.  I can see what I can do to get Bertha out to an event for support, even if it means I take a day out of work and drive it myself.
