Anyone have any leads on where I can pick up a Lowrance Kayak Scupper Transducer Mount around Sacramento, Dixon, Fairfield?  Was really hoping to rig up the fishfinder today - unfortunately the Sports Chalet in Vacaville did not have them in stock.

Thanks in advance.

I saw a pic step by step for that set up on a cuda and it didnt fit out of the box.The guy had to modify it a little it's made to fit a 1" round scupper he had to use a 2" washer on top and a pool noodle in the bottom.I will try and find the link :smt006

If you have an eBay account get it off of ebay
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

jbaker - thank you!

Mike - appreciate the link.  Calypso has used this mount on a Jackson and - yes - its truly designed for round scuppers.  She did a good job of mounthing hers - that article gives me some ideas.

dune - thanks; on-line is an option, but I'm in the mood for some rigging today  :smt001

I picked one up at west marine. It's a bit of a drive for you and you may want to call first as the one in Santa Rosa only had one but worth a shot.

Thanks all!

Jeff was kind enough to wedge me into his personal time, swing by his store in Redding and meet me in Sac.  Check that part off the list.

Thanks Jeff!

One of the nice things overlooked by many folks is that the Jackson scuppers don't require the Lowrance unit.

Transducer bolted to PVC, wrapped in a pool noodle, then trimmed the noodle to fit snug in the scupper. It was strong enough to leave just like this, but I Goop'd it into place.

probably could have used a larger diameter PFC pipe and ran the cable through it, but I just ziptied it up the length of the pipe, through the scupper and into the kayak with the water tight deck fitting
