New guy from Back east

   Whats up Guys. I'm a left coast guy (De)  here in Cali for 6 months or so in Yountville while in the Pathway home for combat veterans. My usual kayak haunts are on tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. It is awesome fishing and yakking water, but I am a long way from home and my yaks! I saw that you were trying to get involved with HOW and think that is awesome! If anyone ever has a good but decently affordable SOT kayak or know of one please let me know. Like I said I will only be here up to six months and shipping is ridiculous for over sized items, I will  just donate it to the Path Way Home after I'm done with the program for any future veterans that are interested. I wasn't sure on the policies before I came out and really wish I would of drove instead of flying, oh well. Sorry about the long first post....Jason

Thank you for the welcome! That would be awesome to come out. I have actually been invited to a couple events down in Va but couldn't make it for medical reasons at the time. I have been med retired since then and look forward to meeting other wounded vets and all of our supporters who do so much. Seriously, thank you for your support, it truly means a lot to the guys. Look forward to hearing how things are done over here.
