I've never caught one before, but I'm relatively certain this is a smallmouth I picked up at Del Valle yesterday while trolling for trout.

Darius, the mojo continues, bro!

Just to prove that mojo is true my friend, everybody says no fish in Del Valle and you caught an elusive one..Smallmouth are rare in our area they are dominated by Spoted and LM super happy that you caught one!!!!

Caught 2 smallies trolling for trout one day. Funny thing is I never caught any trout that day.

Honestly this is the first I realized that smallies are that close in proximity. I bet it hit and fought like a runaway freight train. WTG

Yep, I thought I had one hell of a trout on the line. 4lb test--it was fun!

Thanks, Darius. I'll keep the mojo alive for you until May. After that, it's your responsibility again!
