Went to stevens creek around 3:30 p.m and casted lures from the bottom of the launch ramp. We stayed until about 5:30, we got 4 trout and lost 2. All on pheobes and krocodiles.

Also hit SCR on the mirage tandem with my wife.  Ran into Bill and Joel in the parking lot unloading gear.  Nice to see  you guys again.  It's been way too long!  Also met Scott who wound up casting from shore.

On the water at about 5:30 or so.  Made a few passes along the dam where quite a few lines were in the water.  Very windy!  first trolled a Thomas Bouyant in rainbow trout pattern to a protected cove.  No hits.  Switched to a gold kastmaster and picked up two by the boat ramp.  The SCR stockers seemed to look pretty healthy.  Pretty decent tails and fins.

Saw lots of bird action divebombing in the middle of the lake.  As we were leaving trout were jumping clear out of the water by the launch.

I'm sure Bill and Mooch picked up their limits.  The fish are there, and they're on the chew.  Didn't seem to matter what you were dragging.  Joel was trolling a rapala, Bill was tossing a spinner, and I had the kastmaster - we all caught fish.

If you need a quick fix, SCR might be the ticket.

Joel and I had a good after work fish for sure. I ended up with 3 Joel ended up with 5, he is the trout master! One of mine had a nice claw mark in its back, the osprey are on the chew as well.

We ran into Justin from Fishermans Warehouse, he had been there all day and said his final count was 63 (all released) from the shore!
