Pretty vague question with no real answer.  It really depends on where and how you fish and what you consider a "good price" and how you define "everything you need".  Personally, I am a shallow, freshwater fisherman.  I typically target bass, stripes and an occasional salmon in the Sac Valley, Delta, or on Clear Lake.  I have an Eagle 350 w/ GPS and an Eagle 320 as a backup.  Both are inexpensive, under $150, and work great for me 99% of the time.  I can easily move the units from my yak to my boat as needed.

The GPS in the 350 is limited to a very basic base map, with no option to upgrade, so it may not work for salt guys looking for more detail in their GPS.   I use my iPhone in situations when I need more info.

Space, weight, and battery limitations may also influence your decision.
