Wnna b, many of us do use them for emergency flotation, like JWR said, lots of info on previous posts.

OK i figured out if i want info ill do a search  first,thanks,not sure if i need another hobby  but it will go along with my diving . and fishing just different mode of transport,

I just faced the same dilema a month ago - looking for the Whacky Noodles Pool Floats at this time of year was tough... used mine for a kayak cart/rear hatch milk-crate (it really works, and it floats if it falls off the Yak, I'll post pics after vacation - and all for under 50$!!). There is a pool supply shop in the Bay Fair Mall in San Leandro - they had both small (2inch?) and large (4inch?) for really cheap - a couple bucks for each. They cut & melt (w/ a lighter or candle flame) really easily. You can also buy them in BULK (20+) from anywhere online, but they could cost you $60-80.

I'm interested to see how you'd use them - post a picture when you finish the project!! Good Luck!
