Going to Gerstle Sat.  31st.

The current was strong yesterday, so plan on using at least 4 - 6 ozs to keep you bait down.

NOAA says:

Sat...NE winds 5 to 15 kt...becoming N 5 kt. Wind waves 1 to 3 ft... Becoming 2 ft or less. W swell 8 to 10 ft.

I might just join ya. Let me see what my sitter situation is. I'm hoping the slow fishing yesterday was due to the front moving in and not the swells.

Is Gerstle as protected a launch as TC?

No its not by any means. An 8-10 swell from the north will pound the north point of Gerstle.

Dustin:  I can't recall waves breaking into the cove itself.  They break at the north point of the cove.    The worst I ever saw Gerstle was at the last red bar  Classic.  The waves still were not breaking, but just
rolling.

Sorry, but I think I'm going to hit TC or Fort Ross.
