Thinking about bringing some bait to throw into the bass tanks at bass pro or is it cabelas?

I went to a hot spring/outdoor pool on the north side when I was a kid.  That sound familiar to anyone?

I see the hot spring every time I kayak from the Coon Street launch to the point at Crystal Bay.
Not sure where it is from the land side though.
If you plan on hitting Cabela's drive a little further to Sparks and hit Scheels. GINORMOUS!!!
They even have a ferris wheel inside along with nascar simulators and a bunch of other things. It looks like a mall inside but it really one huge sporting goods store. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the suggestions.  Hiking and steam fishing could work but I'm concerned about possible icy boulders and trails.

If Any one goes too Kirkwood Say hi to Tyler. He started working there today! WhooHoooo! How he got hired when there is no snow is amazing. The long timers should have all the spots locked in?

If temps remain as they are now ....Boca, Prosser, Stampede for Ice skating, hockey. Kids Love to see the old folks feet up and the ER likes the revenue.   Short hike to old fire lookout Crystal Bay.  Winter Paddle on Tahoe.  FreeeezzzeeeBee Golf/ Truckee or NT Regional Park/ Tahoe Vista.  Bowling at Incline Bowl.  Reno...Cabela's , Scheels, Take in a Movie,,, Pay your Nevada nonresident taxes at the casinos....  $20.00 beers, but their free if you win. HaHaHa...... yea I know it's not the Tahoe Experience. We are Wishn'Hopen'Prayn' for Snow.   Even though there is no snow bring chains or your  4 wheel or allwheel drive with MS rated tires.  Sneaky easterly back slide mini storms can pop up even when not forcasted.
Tour of the Fire Station for Kids young and old.  I will be on duty at Kings Beach Firehouse, Stop by and say Hi.

My daughter loves the firehouses. At 5 they are almost the coolest things next to unicorns and fairies
