Amador: Wed. 12/21

Will be heading to Amador on Wednesday, December 21st, at 0-dark-30 trying to launch by 6am and fishing all damn day!  Barefoot1/Jeff Smith will be joining me.  Chasing trout and if it's as hot as some say, maybe target bass after a trout limit. 

Company welcome and of course VHF on Ch. 69!

Hey Michael, I wish I could get out there too, but duty calls...
Note: there was a lot of surface action when I got OTW - which was after 9am.
I didn't really want to brave the dense fog drive in the wee morning hours just for fishing.
Also, the evening topwater/sub-surface action was happening as well.
Midday was producing but not as good for me.
The p-boaters seemed to be scoring a bunch in the middle of the lake all day.
I should have tried a dodger with a black wooly bugger trailing on the spinning rod...
