The last sentence,
 "As for concerns about the fish in the greater Bay Area, the EPA says so far their studies indicate there are no higher levels of DDT in the fish in that area."
  What the hell does that mean? "No higher levels" Higher then what?

i'm pretty sure that all that DDT stays just in that little channel(shadded area)
