I just bought my 2012 fishing license at the DFG web site.  This is my second year buying it online.  The process works very well and you don't have to reenter all of your information.  $49.99 for the sportfishing and Ocean enhancement stamp, not including the second rod stamp.  I wonder if the licenses will be as long as last year?

I'm sure it'll be shorter to save paper due to the budget cuts.  :smt003

2012 license arrived in the mail today.  It doesn't look like anything was done to address the issue of the "3 foot" license.  With the Sturgeon score card and the instructions it's still really long!  I didn't measure it but it looks about the same as last year.
