So far for 2011 I was able to hit the water 14 days in the yak with a average of 6 hours per trip ...
Brings my total to aprox. 84 hours in the saddle this year.
This should be atleast double ... I need to really start fishing more
Thanks for the post, really get's a person thinking

Just finished the compilation of yak trips/hours from 1/1/11 to today:

80 trips, 228.75 hours on the water.  Hopefully I'll get another few hours OTW this weekend...   :smt001

anyone keep track of their number of fish caught?

If I counted the sardines and macks, I have to be in the high thousands.  Of course every seabass trip drastically reduces the fish per trip number  :smt011

I have been using this site (http://www.onlinefishinglog.com/) and an excel format that I created. That has been keeping things on tab for me alot less days this year for me last year I hit 95 and im only at 41 this year and the year is almost over i may get another 3-4 days in if im lucky. Im shooting for a better 2012 gonna try and top the 100day mark.

Sadly, my log OTW is a big fat 0 zero, nada, zilch.  A few excuses are, lost job, got job back (after 9mo.) job relocation, too much work on house, (No fishing license due to job relocation) International tarvel for job, no money, Yada yada yada.
I plan to change this problem for 2012.! :smt006

Thats cool that some (Or most) FF's keep track of the hours operated.  Not sure about my cuda 240 though, it has GPS so I suspect it'll have some kind record, but never looked for it.

I don't include baitfish in the count, but my annual total is usually somewhere in the 150-200 number.
