I was contemplating on going tonight, but the weather and me not wanting to be cold in my car, seemed to be the factor.

I've been considering going for the past week, but the forecast is really not looking very good:

W 8-10' @ 13 seconds
SSW 1-2' @ 15 seconds
Wind SSE 20-25 mph

Thursday morning the wind begins dying down but the swell grows a little bigger.  I am also considering lawson's landing early Thursday morning instead.

Be carefull and when you go out the Jaws go parralell to the rockwall before going out; with SE winds waves can and do break right in front of Jaws. If you "consistantly" get rock crabs in an area, you will consistantly Not get dunnies there. With that big of a swell in that shallow, you may have to pull HARD to get your pots up, they will get sanded in; how much you never know. Good luck and be safe to all who give it a shot; I'm waiting for Friday.

TODAY
SE WINDS 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 6 FT. W SWELL 8 TO
10 FT AT 14 SECONDS. CHANCE OF RAIN.

TONIGHT
SE WINDS 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 6 FT. W SWELL
9 TO 11 FT AT 14 SECONDS. RAIN LIKELY.

THANKSGIVING DAY
S WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 4 FT IN
THE MORNING...BECOMING 2 FT OR LESS. W SWELL 9 TO 11 FT AT
12 SECONDS. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

THU NIGHT
NW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. W
SWELL 8 TO 10 FT.

FRI
N WINDS 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. W SWELL 9 TO
12 FT.

SAT
NE WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. W SWELL 7 TO
9 FT.

Weather predictions are very general and span over wide area.... however, after checking out the conditions at hmb in person; recommend staying home... its a washing machine right outside the jaws.... wind is blowing from the south and the red flag is out....

We (Mooch and I ) are chilling in Princeton by the seas; and a nice warm bowl of chowder....
