Pirates! Moss landing?

My sister just told me some older man got jacked in moss landing by some pirates, left him for dead in the water and took the boat! Has anyone heard this????

The tall ship Lady Washington, which appeared in the first "Pirates of the Caribbean" film, will stop at Moss Landing from Nov. 7-15.
