I was wondering if there is any point in bringing crab pots for dungeness to Fort Ross.  I would like to crab fsh while going lngcod hunting.

never have done it myself, but i have seen pots out there, and there is some good sandy areas in 60-75FOW, as they say never know unless you try, cameron

I would say try it out and then post a report, I think you will be the first one to post any report on crabbing at Fort Ross. Just find a sandy or muddy flat area to lay the trap.

Sounds like a plan. I'll bring one trap for a three hour soak and post the results. The sand is straight out the cove, right?
