Anyone fishing sturgeon-I need your help.

I need your help.  Some of you may know me or know of me, but I have been kinda absent this year.  Too much work.  But besides being an avid kayak fisherman, I'm also research faculty at UC Davis.  I have a sorely underfunded research project on white sturgeon in San Francisco Bay-Delta.   What I need is the leading pectoral fin ray (cut all the way up at the "shoulder" joint).  We can determine how old the fish are by making a very thin section of the fin ray.  The fish make annual bands just like trees.  And the widths of those annual bands can tell us how the fish are growing.  I would also need the fishes length, weight and sex.  I will be out fishing as much as possible, but I admittedly really suck at catching sturgeon, and I am super busy with other projects.  If you catch one and can save that fin ray I would be super appreciative.
