Mother Earth gives in so many ways

I have found a spot that makes 5-15 lbs every other day.  This beast came on my lunch break today.  Life is good.  Add crab or fish for a feast!

What mushroom is it? I don't know beyond the grocery variety, but sounds like fun to forage for shrooms.  Somebody do a shroom hookup!  While I love mushrooms, too scared to forage w/o expert guidance...

That is a FREAKING HUGE SROOM!!!   yes is that a Bolite???

Few more drops a rain and our area should start producing chantrels can't wait I'm all for a Shroomin hook up. Nice job on the hunt makes me hungry

Those are monsters! Nice way to spend your lunch. HOLY TOLEDO scored some chantrels last weekend and shared with me....great with fresh egg noodles.

That basket was 8 lbs (GFA certified weight  )

BTW, they are all King Bolite or Bolitus Edulus or Porcini or Cep (all the same thing depending on nationality)

Nice haul.  We were up the coast last weekend, like Dad said, having way too much fun in the woods and found some gems.  Can't wait till we get some rain and do some more 'sploring.

Nice golden chantrells.  I have been lazy just hitting my honey hole waiting for more rain.
